Charging & Battery Replacement
The power socket is located at the front of the chassis (a battery is pre-installed inside the chassis by default).
Battery Charging
Steps to charge the battery:
1. Unscrew the protective cap of the battery charging port.
2. Use a 2-pin aviation plug charging cable: connect one end to the chassis charging port and the other end to the AC power input.
3. When the red indicator light on the charger is on, the R1 Lite is charging.
Battery Replacement
Steps to replace the battery:
1. Use an L-shaped wrench to remove the two screws on the right side panel of the chassis (see left image).
2. Slide the cover plate to the left to remove the battery cover.
3. Place the battery into the chassis and connect the battery cable to the chassis.
4. Reinstall the battery cover.
Emergency Stop
The Emergency Stop (E-Stop) button is a software-based switch that does not cut off power. It is located on the rear surface of the chassis.
In case of emergency or danger, immediately press the E-Stop button to halt all operations.
Note: Please ensure that the E-Stop button is released before powering on.
Remote Controller Instructions
R1 Lite is equipped with three remote controllers to control the torso, the chassis, and the emergency stop function respectively.
Please follow the instructions below to use the appropriate controller for each task.
Note: Before controlling the chassis, make sure all four toggle switches (SWA/SWB/SWC/SWD) are pushed to the top position to keep the R1 Lite in a stopped state and prevent accidental movement.
Refer to the diagram below to set the four toggles to the required positions to control chassis movement:
